Basic runes combiner

Even though it was supposed to come out yesterday, due to technical issues.

AD runes:

If you take a closer look, you will see something you might call very weird but we assure you it isn't. Even AD carries need magic resistance. Usually, supports are the ones using ability power. Even if they aren't you'd be easily killed by any AP caster. Furthermore, armor is really necessary. Another good thing is to start with 15 armor penetration because it really boosts your power. You could even use these runes on AD solo top characters. Many players build armor. By getting armor penetration you will have the upper-hand. Even if the players haven't build armor, you could deal more damage to them with solely physical damage runes. You don't need more physical damage than shown on picture.

Runes used:

Marks (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Mark of Desolation
Seal (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Seal of Resilience
Glyph (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Glyph of Warding
Quintessence (Tier 3): 3 x Greater Quintessence of Strength

Note of caution: Picture shown above is about a year old, from the time when runes weren't nerfed. Some of them may give different results, but those aren't higher than 1 point in something. :)

AP runes:

This is usually the way to build your AP runes. There is one thing you can change, but we'll talk about that later. With these runes you have good AP start. You don't want to have too much AP because you won't be able to build some runes that may be of key to your game. Don't worry, you'll still be able to kill your enemy without a problem. :)

Runes used:

Marks (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Mark of Insight
Seal (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Seal of Replenishment
Glyph (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Glyph of Potency
Quintessence (Tier 3): 3 x Greater Quintessence of Force

Note of caution: If you feel that you need magic resistance, you can swap one of the Quintessence with magic resistance Quintessence and you can swap your seals for magic resistance seals.

Offensive tank runes:

These are the runes that use offensive tanks, solo top characters. These runes should be used when jungling with any character who is physical damage user.

Runes used:

Marks (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Mark of Strength
Seal (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Seal of Resilience
Glyph (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Glyph of Warding
Quintessence (Tier 3): 3 x Greater Quintessence of Strength

Ability Power jungler:

Version 1:

This is a first version of runes to use when jungling with AP champions. You should build ones who you like more. :)

Runes used:

Marks (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Mark of Insight
Seal (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Seal of Resilience
Glyph (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Glyph of Focus
Quintessence (Tier 3): 3 x Greater Quintessence of Swiftness

Version 2:

Marks (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Mark of Insight
Seal (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Seal of Replenishment
Glyph (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Glyph of Focus
Quintessence (Tier 3): 3 x Greater Quintessence of Potency

Support runes:

This is the basic supporting rune page. We will talk about how to build advanced some other day. This rune page will give you tankieness you could really use as a support. You gain a little gold utility as well. In advanced support rune combining we will show you the ultimate ways to build them. They depend on characters as well. Because of that, these are basic runes because they can work on any support character. :)

Marks (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Mark of Resilience
Seal (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Seal of Resilience
Glyph (Tier 3): 9 x Greater Glyph of Warding
Quintessence (Tier 3): 3 x Greater Quintessence of Avarice

Tank runes:

When building tank runes, you should only bare in mind that you should take 3 x Quintessence: Greater Quintessence of Swiftness. Build armor and magic resistance with marks, seals and glyphs. You have to decide for yourself how much of which you will build since tank runes have endless versions and depend on the player and character playing.

Note of caution: You can always use offensive tank runes we have shown you if you don't have any tank runes. :)

We hope we have been helpful! Once again, these are the runes that go well on every character. We will start writing runes for specific characters, as well (advance rune combining), from Friday.

Good luck on the fields of justice!
